Will We Survive Obamanomics..?

Surviving this economy is an exercise in survival for the average family today. Without exception, everyone has had to make adjustments to their discretionary spending habits. In many cases, we have had to make tough decisions to exclude expenditures that cannot be incurred if we want to make it to the next payday.

When we consider the expenditures that President Obama has incurred, when we witness him blowing 2.2 million dollars just to toot his horn on a multi state bus tour, we see with our own eyes just how out of touch Obama is. This is a glaring example of how leftists like the President are all too happy to spend other people’s money. We should ask ourselves: why is the billion dollar Obama campaign machine not paying for these tour buses instead of the American taxpayer..?

His economic policies have been so disastrous (Stimulus, QE1, QE2, Obamacare, Cash for Clunkers, GM and Chrysler Bail Out, neutering of NASA to name a few), his appetite for spending is so profligate that his last budget proposal in February went down in flames in the US Senate 97-0.

Yesterday, President Obama declared from one of the million dollar buses we the taxpayer are underwriting for his campaign that in September he will give us a plan to “boost the economy, to create jobs and to control our deficit.” He finished previewing this nugget with ”…my attitude is, get it done,”.

Mr. President, our economy is grave danger now. Our debt and deficit are about to sent us over the cliff. Yes, Bush 43 had debt and deficit ($700 in 2008), way more than conservatives ever wanted. But Mr. Obama, you have doubled the federal budget ($1.7 Trillion) in less than three years..! Yet you continue to insist on spending $7 trillion more.

You are dead set on raising taxes. This is madness. How can you possibly say you want to boost job creation when you are insisting on raising them on the very entrepreneurs that invest thier money to create jobs in the first place. You want to extend unemplyment benefits beyond what you have stretched them to already (99 weeks). Sir, unemployment benefits to not stimulate the economy as you portend. People who do not have a job will not see their financial outlook improved by a government handout. Unemployment benefits are not designed for consumer spending sprees. The fact that you are trying to pass this off as sound financial policy actually disqualifies you as an effective leader.

If you have the choice between giving a man a fish to tie him over versus teaching the man to fish so he becomes self sustaining, the latter is always the logical and compassionate option. Simply giving him a fish makes him dependent upon the person or entity that provides the fish. Mr. President, I submit that yur purpose and intention is to have that man fully dependent upon the time and place that you choose to feed him. You want him to count on your “benevolence”. Bottom line, your policy would produce a culture of political and economic slaves that stumble through life waiting for you and your ilk to give them their next fix. That is not Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln. Your thought process and policy choice is Lenin, Stalin,  Castro and Brezhnev.

Making the American people wait until September demonstartes you are not serious when it comes to addressing this nations economic crisis. This Republic needs leadership now. Not someone who “leads from behind” or apologizes to the world for our “misgivings”. We need a leader who is proud of their Republic, it’s accomplishments, it’s generosity, its kindness and it’s strength as the worlds super power. We need a decisive leader that is not afraid to commit to a strategy for improvement. We do not need a slick hustler that chooses to walk in between the raindrops and vote “present”.

Mr. Obama, you once instructed your minions to confront the opposition. You we goading your followers to “argue with your neighbors”  and to ”get in their face”. your “ambassadors” you called them.

Well, Mr. President the “ambassadors” of the United States Constitution, The Followers of the Declaration of Independence, are rising in all the accepted ways at every corner of this Republic in opposition to statism. We rise in opposition to a confiscatory government that threatens to strange our entrepreneurs and steifel the engine of private sector creativity and independence your economic policies stand against. Mr. Ryan Rhodes is only the beginning. We will defeat you at the ballot box and stop the economic insanity you are foisting against all of us.

Who are we..? You know very well who we are Mr. President. We are those pesky astroturfers that your Vice President called “terrorists”.

Editor’s Note: In the Ryan Rhodes clip, President Obama states that Timothy McVeigh was a right wing extremist. The context of even mentioning McVeigh is a mystery here. However, if we are going to mention terrorists with impunity, let’s not forget the name Bill Ayers, friend and political contributor to President Obama.

That’s kind of… abrupt.

If you’re reading this, you’re all set, partner!

You’re a real deep thinker. Thanks for sharing.

How so..? Please specify…

This could not possibly have been more helpful!

you should really take a class in economics. I stumbled onto this site by accident, it’s quite pathetic. none of you have a clue about US economic or recession history, politics and certainly not macro-economics.

Then you should spend more time here, maybe you will learn something about how economics are actually implemented. Socio-marxism – your prefered system Mr. “Supertech” – has failed everywhere in the world it has ever been tried. If I’m wrong, please list what country is succesful and their people prospering under socio-marxism.

I am responding to your 3:00 AM comments as I get ready for work. You on the other hand are probably still enjoying your 99 weeks of extended unemployment benefit “stimulus” that Obama has instituted.

Tell me, do you subscribe to Obama’s theory that not working for a living and collecting unemployment benefits is economic stimulus? Perhaps you believe that you can spend your way out of the debt? Do you support a quadrupling of the debt in two and a half years as Obama has done? Do you believe in nationalizing one sixth of our economy and having the government run healthcare will actually make it cheaper..?

Yeah, WE need to learn economic policy. Allow me to give you your first lesson in economics:

GET A JOB..!

Actually I’m an analyst and self-employed and get billed out at $300/hr so I work when I please. I would work more but all the good telecom R&D jobs have been outsourced to India and I’ve spent some time there in the past and it’s not for me as I can’t get over the way women are there.

some of you on the right know what you are talking about but not this place, seems to be 100% opinion and nothing based on facts or papers released from academia. if not for the tv most of you wouldn’t have a clue what to talk about, the US used to be a great country but now ignorance and stupidity are the norm.

You know what, I’m very much iniclned to agree.

This info is great. Thanks.

If your articles are always this helpful, “I’ll be back.”
