I must first complement the Speaker of the House John Boehner. Thank you for showing considerable spine and forcing the President to capitulate and change the date of his speech.

When President Obama finally gives his speech on his miracle plan to create jobs (again), it will be completely ineffective. When he steps up to the lectern to pontificate to congress why his brilliant plans have not come to pass, it will be pure kabuki theatre. When Barack Obama thankfully deigns us with his machinations to resuscitate the rotting lump of flesh that is his economic policies, it won’t mean a thing…not a damn thing.

I wrote the last paragraph in true Obama style. That is: how to waste perfectly good air on 76 words and manage to say nothing at all. That in a nutshell is what we will be treated to on the night of September 8th when the President reveals yet another plan to destroy the American economy.

Understand that he will propose everything Republicans will reject. His carefully thought out plan will be a series of unpalatable policy initiatives that will be certainly meet their doom on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. And that just the way the President wants it too.

Mr. Obama has absolutely nothing left in his quiver full of poison arrows. Therefore, his only ploy left is to propose certain policies that will never stand a chance in hell to pass in the House. Then he can tour the Republic lamenting that those evil tea party crazed Republicans are nothing but a band of obstructionist do-nothings.

President Obama will purpose extending the gas tax or else millions will lose their jobs. He will try to pass off Nancy Pelosi’s insane notion that unemployment benefits are actually stimulus to the economy by further extending these benefits. He will propose another gigantic round of frivolous spending in the name of restoring our “crumbling infrastructure” (how many times have we heard that cute little phase). He will propose creating another bureaucracy to manage jobs and disbursement of government funds to create them (sauce for his union buddie’s goose you see). He will insist that we must print and spent further in order to save our economy.

Could you get yourself out of the financial hole by continuing to spend money on that credit card that is way, way over the limit? Could your family simply resort to the printing press in the basement to print more greenbacks when necesary? You could do that if you want a perp walk from the Secret Service. Could you adopt any of these crazy policies and survive? Of course not. You would join the rank of the bankrupt and disgraced. Precisely where this administration has taken us to financially: to the brink of ruin.

You would cut your expenditures below what your total income is. You would curtail or eliminate wasteful or unnecesary spending. You would watch where you spend your money and where to make sure it is spend wisely and that the value of your purchase is maximized to conform to your economic reality. This is what we all must do to survive. 

These sensible steps – known as a budget – have been passed by the Republican lead House in multiple instances. The Democrat lead Senate has yet to pass a budget or anything close to it for over 850 days.

We must take the time before the President states his latest lunacy to speak to others that may not know what we have accomplished in the House. We must take the initiative and speak to family and co-workers and show them the numbers. Show them what we have proposed and passed. Only by reaching out to others will we be effective in blunting the President’s latest disinformation campaign. Spread the word folks, and let’s continue the good work of restoring fiscal sanity to this great Republic.
